Surviving High School chapter 2

Gabi's POV

At lunch Madi invited me to sit with her and the rest of the girls, so I could meet them.

"Alright, you have met Lucah and Donna," she says as we sit down with them "That's Charlotte, but we call her CD." She points to a small girl with blonde hair, wearing a Zelda shirt.

"Jon's not with you, is he Madi?" she asks.

"Nope, he's with the rest of the boys, god knows where. Anyway, that's Kelly." She points to girl wearing a Yoshi shirt. Then a girl rushes in, lightning fast.

"HIDE ME!!!"

"Grace, it's the first day and you're already playing pranks?" Lucah asks "Get under the table."

"What'd 'ya do this time? Tell me, tell me, TELL ME!!!" Donna asks.

"Threw a smoke bomb in the boys' bathroom." The girl, apparently Grace, replies.

"Grace, really? You're gonna ruin your record on the first day?" a girl asks quietly as she sits down at the table. She has brown hair and eyes, and she looked sad.

"Yes, Kia, It's fun, you should try it sometime, maybe you'll actually smile." Grace says.

"What's going on?" a girl with blonde hair asks. She is wearing jeans and a t-shirt.
"Oh, Hannah, Grace just pulled her first prank of the year." Kelly tells her.

"But you didn't invite me?" she asks Grace.

Then two more girls walk up. One has black braided hair and green eyes. She's wearing black jeans and a Wind Waker shirt and a triforce necklace. The other girl has light brown hair, green eyes, and a Bowser shirt.

"That's Skyler," Madi says, pointing to the black-haired girl "and Ashley." She points at the other girl.

Just then a bunch of boys walk into the cafeteria. Jon walks up behind CD.

"'Sup, small fry? Midget, short stack." That was it. Madi got up and punched her brother in the stomach.

"THAT IS IT! YOU HAD BETTER STOP PICKING ON HER, OR I'LL MAKE SURE THAT 'THAT' PICTURE GOES ON THE FRONT PAGE OF EVERY SCHOOL NEWSLETTER!!!! YOU HEAR ME!?!?!?!?!?!"

"You wouldn't."

"I WOULD!!!!!!"

Jon walked away, looking nervous.

"Madi, thank you SO MUCH!!!" Charlotte says, hugging her.

"No problem, I couldn't stand to see my own brother pick on my best friend." Madison replies "Now, all that aside, has ANYONE noticed the new face?! This is Gabi, the new girl."

I smile, not very used to having this many pairs of eyes watching me.

"Now, about the boys!" Lucah says, taking the attention away from me. "You saw Emile and Jon, that's Tim, Grace's boyfriend." She points to a boy with short, light hair, babbling about Yoshi.

"He is not!" Grace says, blushing.

"You sure?" Kelly asks.

"… Okay maybe a little." We all laugh.

"Josh, my boyfriend." She points to a boy with dark hair that spikes up in the front. I recognize him as the dude who said "Holy Jesus Gramma" earlier when Madison impersonated Jon.
"That's Tyler." Donna says, pointing to a guy with dirty-blonde hair. Someone says something funny, and Tyler tips his chair over from laughing so hard.

"WOAH BANANAS!!!!" he shouts as he goes down. Charlotte giggles.

"That's Jake, Skyler's man." Madi points to a boy with dark hair.

"Hey, you don't have to state it so bluntly!" Skyler says, laughing.

"And Doug, my boyfriend." Donna says pointing to a boy with short, black hair

"Last but not least, Justin!" Ashley says, pointing to a guy with short, light hair. He waves at me, and I blush and wave back.

"Ooh, someone's got a crush!" Grace says, finally coming out from under the table. I blush and smile awkwardly.

"I can't believe the amount of homework we got on our first day!" Kelly says "You guys wanna come over to study?"

"Oh, yea, you should come Gabi, Kelly lives in this HUGE mansion! Her parents are so rich; they even helped found the school!" Hannah says.

"Alright, I'll come"

Emiles' POV

It's almost the end of the day, and while we are at our lockers, a girl with red hair walks up to me.

"Hey there, baby." She says.

"Go away, Zoey." I respond.

"Hey, don't be mean. Wanna go do something after school?" she asks.

"No, leave me alone." As she walks away, Madi walks up to me.
"Zoey bothering you again?" she asks.

"Yea, that girl is WAY too persistent. Sometimes I wonder if she even knows we're together." I answer.

"Oh, trust me she does. She's hated me ever since 3rd grade." This is news to me. "Why?" I ask.

"Who knows."

"Oh well, see you tomorrow." I say, kissing her on the cheek.

"See 'ya!"
